Friday, swimmingpool!

Friday 10th of July in the morning we had breakfast as usual. After that, at 9 o'clock, we had lessons until half past twelve. Later, after our lessons, we went to the Union building, the canteen, to have lunch. After lunch, in the afternoon, we went for a walk along the seafront until we got to the Pyramids, which is an indoor swimminpool with slides and artificial waves. We were playing and having lots of fun there until the time to have dinner. We tried the typical Friday dinner, which is fish and chips. We had it the English style, outdoors, sitting on the grass. Then, we went back to the Union building to have an evening activity, karaoke.

Thursday, disco night!

Yesterday we had lessons from 9 o'clock to half past twelve. After the lessons we went to the canteen to have lunch. After lunch we went for a walk to the port. Once there we visited a castle, Southsea Castle. It was very interesting. Later on, we went to an arcade, where we could go on some rides. We had a great time there!

In the evening, after dinner, we had a party. It was called "Opposite Dress Disco". Boys had to dress in girls clothes and girls had to wear boys clothes. There was a karaoke too. We had a lot of fun.

Winchester Cathedral

Yesterday 8th of July, at 8 in the morning, we went to the canteen to have breakfast. After that, we went to the University to have our lessons. At 12:30 we finished our lessons and we went back to the canteen to have lunch. After lunch, Italians, Turkish and we went to Winchester to visit its cathedral. Later on, we had some free time to go shopping around the town.

At a quarter past five we took the coach back to Portsmouth and when we arrived we went to the canteen to have dinner.

 At half past eight we met in the canteen to play a quiz game. We made multinational teams to play. The quiz had questions about Britain, sports, food, celebrities, countries, etc. It was fun!

After the game, at half past ten, we went to our rooms, after another exciting day in England!

Portsmouth tour

Hi there!

As we mentioned in our last entry, yesterday we took a test in order to know what level we were in. After that, we had some lessons. Then we went to the canteen to have lunch and, after lunch, we visited Portsmouth. The beach is amazing!

After the tour, we went to the building where we had had the lessons in the morning and there we met Ronan and other two teachers who told us about the rules and regulations at school. Later, at six, we had dinner and after that we played basketball and football.

It was real fun!

Our first lesson

Today was hard day. We had a placement test in the morning to show our skills in English. It consisted of a written test, a composition and a personal interview. After the test, the head of studies told us which classroom we were in, and he took us there. We are mixed with other Italian and Turkish students!

Our first day in Portsmouth

Yesterday was our first day in Portsmouth. When we arrived to the university after a long trip, we went to our rooms. We have our own ensuite room. They are so nice!

In the evening, after dinner, we played some team games on the grass, and some students of our group won a medal! It was fun and we had a very good time.
